Department of Health Services Licensing and Certification Office
Generally, within ten days of receiving a nursing home abuse and/or neglect complaint in Contra Costa County, the Department of Health Services Licensing and Certification office will conduct an investigation. In emergency situations, investigations may be conducted in as little as 24 hours.
Adult Protective Services
Contra Costa’s Adult Protective Services insure the safety of seniors and vulnerable adults at risk and help to develop appropriate care plans for victims of nursing home abuse and neglect.
