Welcome to the San Francisco Nursing Home Abuse and Nursing Home Neglect Information site of Young & Wallin.
While many nursing homes provide quality care and support for their residents, many do not. In fact, it has been found that some nursing homes have had deficiencies that not only cause harm to their residents, but even death. Nursing home staff members and even other residents can be abusers. Nursing home abuse includes physical, mental, financial, and even sexual abuse. Throughout San Francisco and even the nation, there are problems with understaffing, and many nursing homes have unqualified staff. Because of this, nursing home residents are at greater risk of being abused and/or neglected.
